This shrine was established in 1935. It was built in a Japanese Shinto shrine form and arrangement. It used ferroconcrete and red bricks, while imitating the Japanese wooden architectural style. It reflects the sorrow of Korean Hansen’s disease patients, who were forced to Shinto worship during the Japanese occupation.
