This ones-story, red brick building was established in 1935 and features H-formed plan and a gable roof. It has a similar structure to a prison. It was used to isolate and confine Hansen’s disease patients, who violated internal regulations of the rehabilitation center. It gives a sense of wrongful confinement, surveillance, and physical punishment suffered by the patients during the Japanese occupation.
